If ever I use the same excuse of time and writing about our journey to the sun I shall allow you to thump a brick on my thumb.

Herewith I shall provide no excuse for being more slack than the rope trying to tow the Taiwanese trawler off Clifton beach.

Time has passed since my last call to write and we are now in full understanding as to why a pool is something that should be fitted before a bath. [Read more…]

This Great Life

This Great Life

Like sand in the hour glass, these are the Days of our Lives. Yes, yes, at times this feels like a bad soapie waiting for the days to play out into the pot of gold below the rainbow. [Read more…]

The flight into Gatwick was smooth considering the youngest UNAD had never flown before. It was strange to arrive in the UK with our current lives stored in 5 bags. (we talking the large bags)

Arriving in Gatwick

Arriving in Gatwick

We would stay 2 nights at J & A and our son RKAD who is a Chelsea supporter was most excited to go to a Chelsea store in Kingston. While we were walking along the Thames to get to Kingston we got chatting to a gent who had a ‘barge hotel’ and he stated “Well someone has to support them”, all said in the best English banter. However this didn’t deter the son ๐Ÿ˜‰ to purchase a player’s jersey with the number 10 and his own name ironed on. [Read more…]

We Leaving on a Jet Plane

We Leaving on a Jet Plane

MrsDuck is incredibly organised and had processed everything related to the car, that we leaving in Finland, to the gaggle’s school books and needs that surround homeschooling. It must also be noted that the wife had taught in a school before as a temp teacher, so going towards homeschooling will not be as scary for us as it can be for most starting out. [Read more…]
